I was looking up some Comerica Park information the other day, and I ended up on the promotions page. You know, where they list the schedule of promotional giveaways like hats and bats.
I noticed that they have several days where kids can take the field and run the bases. Man, I loved that as a kid! But why don't they have a day when adults can run the bases? I'd get SO much more out of it now than when I was little.
Just think how fun it'd be to do that after a few beers. Maybe race your friends? I'm not saying I'd win a race these days, but whatever. I still think they should give equal time to the people that actually buy Detroit Tigers tickets and pay for that field. Makes a lot more sense, don't you think?

Dude, you just answered your own question! All the Tigers need is for some knucklehead (not you, but in general) who's been drinking with his buddies to trip over a base and break his leg!
